Marcus meets you and drives north to the Victorian town of Pitlochry, you can drop into Blair Atholl Distillery (Bells), their bar is made from an old mash tun. We can also arrange a private tasting at Robertsons with their Edradour specialist. After a pub lunch, we drop into Dalwhinnie Distillery where you pair whisky with chocolates. Finally, check in to the hotel, the food is superb and they have a great whisky selection.

Over the next couple of days there’s plenty of options, for distillery tours – Glenlivet, Cardhu, Macallan, Glenallachie, Aberlour (tasting only), Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Glen Grant, Speyburn, Benriach, Glen Moray, Benromach, Stathisla and Glendronach. We also include a visit to The Speyside Cooperage to watch the casks being made and repaired.

Leaving the heart of scotch whisky country you have options a) a premium whisky tasting or blending masterclass at Aberfeldy Distillery (Dewars) OR/AND b) a full range tasting at Tullibardine Distillery, being French owned there’s plenty of wine finishes to taste. Then on to your Edinburgh, or Glasgow hotel.
